The Footbridge North Hotel is located at 1522 Post Road (Route 1), Wells Maine, just minutes from miles and miles of white sandy beaches. The Footbridge North is a quiet and intimate hotel with only 14 rooms and perfect for the traveler who is searching for a peaceful, relaxing retreat. There is no playground or play area for children. Accommodations include 6 rooms with King beds, 4 rooms with 2 double beds, 1 room with 2 queen beds, 1 first floor Handicap Accessible room, 1 second floor Queen Standard Suite and 1 Queen Studio Apartment (the only room with a full kitchen) located at the rear of the main house.

The Southern Maine Seacoast has many attractions. The town of Ogunquit lies just 5 miles to the South of us where you will discover summer theaters, deep sea fishing, a museum, plenty of shopping and Ogunquit Beach. Just to the North of us is Kennebunkport. Quaint stops and friendly restaurants line the streets of this small village. Catch a ride on the seasonally run trolley (Shoreline Explorer) with a stop a few steps from our front door. The trolley will take you to area beaches, shopping and into Ogunquit, or just take a relaxing sightseeing ride. If you choose to visit the area stores you will be pleased to know that Wells is the unofficial used and rare bookstore capital of the world, and there are over 50 antique dealers and shops for you to visit.
